Michelle and Ross Huy from Ireland could hardly believe their happiness – the parents of two were expecting their third baby. But six weeks and two days into their pregnancy, Michelle suddenly felt a sharp pain on her way to work.
At first, the young woman didn’t pay attention to it, but when she saw blood on her pants in the toilet, she immediately rushed to the hospital with her husband. There, their worst fears were confirmed: Michelle had lost the baby. The couple didn’t know how to cope with their grief. Thank God, their children were by their side.
Doctors told Michelle to take two pills to “cleanse” her uterus and prevent infection. The mother of two obediently did everything they recommended. After spending a night in the hospital, Michelle returned home in complete despair. There she met with her friends, beloved relatives, who offered her a glass of wine to calm her nerves.
The next day, she had to take another test to check if there were any signs of pregnancy left in her body. The result was positive, and ten days later, Michelle had to undergo a uterine cleaning. But instead, something incredible happened!
Before performing the unpleasant procedure, the doctors decided to do another ultrasound, during which they discovered the heartbeat of another baby! Michelle was still pregnant. It turned out that the woman was originally carrying twins, one of whom she lost at the very beginning of the term. Experienced doctors at the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin could not explain how the second baby managed to survive, despite everything!
